A thousand families have been adversely affected by the recent flooding in Landimawe and Nairobi South areas of Starehe Constituency leaving them homeless and without necessary basics.

Touched by the plight of the affected families especially children, the Child Welfare Society of Kenya led by CEO Irene Mureithi spent the day distributing beddings, food and stationery to the 1,000 families at Nairobi South Primary School. Area MP Charles Njagua graced the occasion among other guests and the local administration.

CWSK is partnering with the government to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable Kenyans.
